Raffi Kamalian has worked in the tech and multi-media field in Asia since 2004. In 2013, Raffi founded the first Hong Kong based MCN which was acquired by Collab Asia in 2018. Raffi is currently the head of Greater China for Collab Asia where he has been a leader in syndication of licensed overseas content into the Mainland China market. Under Raffi's direction, Collab Asia is one of the very few overseas companies that can monetize content in the MCN programs of the major Chinese video platforms including Bilibili, Baidu, Tencent Video, Bytedance's Toutiao and iQiyi. Raffi holds a PhD in engineering from UC Berkeley and speaks Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
